چکیده

The cholesterol content in cow milk is influenced by both genetic and environmental factors. Despite the fact that the main part of cholesterol contained in milk is synthesised endogenously, via process independent of the offered diet type, the chemical composition of feed (especially fat) affects the content of this sterol in cow milk (Precht, 2001). The content of cholesterol in cow milk is related also to the proportion of somatic cell counts (Strzałkowska et al., 2009a).
